Goongrabber

Goongrabber for Chrome is the companion extension for your self-hosted Goongrabber server. It puts your server one click away, so you don't have to copy links or keep its web page open. WHAT IT DOES • Send the page you're on to your server's download queue with one click. • Follow downloads in the popup: progress, speed and time left. • Pause, resume or cancel downloads, one at a time or all at once. • See when a page was already downloaded, and where it was saved, before you grab it twice. • Get a notification when a download you sent finishes or fails. • The toolbar badge shows how many downloads are in progress. WHAT YOU NEED A running self-hosted Goongrabber server of your own (get it on github at goondev32/goongrabber). This extension doesn't download anything by itself: it sends pages to your goongrabber server, and your server does the downloading. The first time you open the popup, enter your server's address and your login. PRIVATE BY DESIGN The extension talks only to the server you enter. It has no accounts, analytics, tracking or ads, and it only reads a page when you open the popup on it. Your login stays in your browser's extension storage.
