Google & YouTube Cookie Consent Popup Blocker
Overview
Block “Before you continue” cookie consent popups on Google and YouTube
After the introduction of GDPR, Google and YouTube began showing a cookie consent popup on their websites, making it more difficult to navigate them for residents of any GDPR compliant country This extension blocks the “Before you continue” cookie consent popup that appears on Google and YouTube, as it can be time consuming to manually close it each time, especially when frequently clearing cookies or starting new incognito/private browsing sessions Note: to activate blocking in incognito/private browsing sessions, enable "Allow in Incognito" in the Chrome extension settings Additional customization for enterprise environments is available through policies, visit https://davg25.com/?cookie-consent-popup-blocker-enterprise for more details

A new working version has already been submitted. Unfortunately, we have to wait for Google to review and approve it in order to release the update to the users. This usually takes a few days but it's ultimately up to Google, sorry about the issue.

unfortunately doesn't work on many sites

Hello, could you clarify on which sites it doesn't work for you so I can help? As specified in the description, images, post-installation page, settings, and interface, the blocking of cookie consent popups works exclusively on Google and YouTube. Thank you.

Does what it says, thank you. Can you release the source on GitHub for those of us who want to control the installation process a bit more closely? I unpacked the extension and it's not doing anything malicious as far as I can tell, but it does include a remote URL for the post-installation welcome page. I'd rather there is no remote URL at all in the source code.

Hello, thank you for your interest in the extension. The open source version can be found at https://github.com/DavG25/cookie-consent-popup-blocker It is also possible to disable the post-installation welcome page by setting the policy "ShowWelcomePage" to "false", this can be done using policy management, for example on Chrome: https://www.chromium.org/administrators/configuring-policy-for-extensions/
