I feel like this is a lesser used feature so wanted to highlight that I LOVE export selection as image. I can't stand having to screenshot everything myself every time and then not remembering where I screenshot the image from. Just having the ability to quickly copy and paste a linked screenshot of my data is such a mental-headache saver. 5/5

AMAZING! Having to switch from excel to google sheets, lack of customizable shortcuts was my biggest challenge. Took me a lot longer to finish my work. I found out about this after a gruesome few months of doing my work, and it was LIFE CHANGING. Absolutely amazing. I started with the free trial to make sure it had everything I was looking for and it absolutely did! P.S. They have a slack community where you can interact with others using the product and the team to ask questions and provid... Show more

Huge time saver, especially all the cyclings Trace precedents is extremely helpful. Same with dependents. Hard to believe Google hasn't built either out fully yet UI could be better Using a Mac so especially helpful since Mac is incompatible with most shortcuts
Hi Henry, thanks for the kind words! Hear ya on the UI - we're going to do something about it. Stay tuned! Best, David

TRIAL VERSION. Buried in the description near the bottom it tells you, but after 25 days, you lose some features (including tracing). In my opinion it is clearly misleading to bury the lead on this, intended to make you get used to using the features and then make you pay for them at a later date. It would be okay if either in the promotional images (ie: the first one) or in the title you made it clear it was a trial version.
Hi Alt Man, thank you for the feedback! You're right in highlighting that we offer a 21 day free trial of the tool. After the 21 days, you'll be moved to our Free plan which includes all of our native Excel formatting shortcuts. You can upgrade to our Pro plan thereafter if you wish Regarding your concern about the visibility of the trial period, we do have a trial countdown at the top of the SheetWhiz menu which you should see when you login and any time you open the menu thereafter. We do include it in our Chrome listing as well, but you're right that it is near the bottom. We prioritized highlighting our features first, especially with all the new additions we've made over the past couple of years Our website also clearly outlines our pricing model both on the home page https://www.sheetwhiz.com/ and a dedicated pricing page: https://www.sheetwhiz.com/pricing If you're approaching the end of your trial and need more time, feel free to reach out! We're quite flexible about offering extensions Thanks again for the feedback - I think it is helpful to have this review to highlight that we do have a 21 day trial period of our Pro plan that when ended moves you to our Free plan Best, David

Hi, The login button when pulled up in google sheets does not load into a login screen, it's just a dead image. Do you know of any fixes? Thanks!
Hey Vamsee, thanks for trying us out! Could you email me at david@sheetwhiz.com? Might be easier to troubleshoot there (can also hop on a call if helpful!) That said - a few general troubleshooting tips for this: 1. Our tool only runs on Google Chrome. If you are using another browser like Arc or Brave, the pop-up has been known to be blocked. Google Chrome can also block pop-ups but I haven't seen this be an issue with Google OAuth 2. The pop-up sometimes appears behind open windows so I would just double check to make sure it's not behind anything 3. If your browser is managed by a Workspace account then there might be a setting preventing OAuth login....but I haven't seen this and if we hop on a call we can test for this by trying to install the tool on a browser not managed by your organization Thanks! David

This is the best extension I've ever used. By a mile. I work in finance and it saves me time every single day. It's so good that it's converted me from a lifelong Excel junkie to a Sheets evangelist. I even recently moved all my clients from Excel to Sheets. Please do yourself a favor and give this a try if you use Sheets.
Thanks so much for the kind words! Glad we're able to be helpful!

As a big data cruncher at work and for my side projects, I've really come to rely on this tool. Working without sheetwhiz would be like riding a bike without pedals at this point.

This is a must-have extension for G Sheets. Huge fan of the ability to cycle formats. Number and font cycles bring back some of the MS Excel power-user features back (e.g., (1) vs. -1 and zero's represented by a “-“ vs. "0", blue = hardcode, green = links, black = formula, among many other great features). Trace precedents/dependents are incredible - It's nearly impossible to do anything remotely productive in Sheets w/o this. Really seamless and saves so many unnecessary clicks and time!
