Google Photos Clipboard Fix
Overview
Copies images from Google Photos as real image data so they paste correctly into blog editors and other apps.
When you copy images from Google Photos and paste them into blog editors, email composers, or other apps, you often get a broken link or thumbnail instead of the actual image. This extension fixes that. How it works: 1. Browse Google Photos as usual 2. Right-click on any photo 3. Select "Copy image for pasting" 4. Paste into any app — the full image is on your clipboard The extension grabs the actual image pixels from the page and copies them as real PNG image data, so they paste correctly everywhere — WordPress, Notion, Gmail, Google Docs, and more. Features: - Works via right-click context menu on Google Photos - Pre-fetches images for fast copying - Converts to PNG for maximum compatibility - No data collection — everything stays in your browser - Only runs on photos.google.com Permissions explained: - "clipboardWrite" — needed to copy image data to your clipboard - "photos.google.com" and Google image hosts — needed to read the image pixels from the page
