Google Maps Tile Inspector

Not seeing the tiles

Interesting extension. But I see a grid appear for a moment, but nothing that persists or as per screenshot. You have some more information how to get this to work, or is there a known issue?
Are the tiles defined, i.e what the size of each is, in dimension in pixels and also meters they cover on the map and also I assume they take into consideration the screen resolution or not?
