Overview

Search through Google Maps reviews for specific keywords

Search the reviews of every business in a Google Maps results page at once, instead of opening them one by one. Type a keyword while viewing Google Maps search results and the extension reads through the reviews of each listed business - including the ones Maps only loads as you scroll - and shows every match in a side panel, grouped by business, with your keyword highlighted. It also finds reviews that mean what you searched without containing the words: search "dog friendly" and "they welcomed our puppy" shows up too, on its own Related tab with a similarity score. Exact matches always have their own tab. The search runs in the background. Close the panel and keep browsing - the extension icon counts matches as they are found, and reopening the panel shows wherever the search is. You can stop a search and keep what it found, and starting a new one asks before replacing a running search. Once a search has results, press "Summarize reviews" under any business for a short digest of what its reviewers say: recurring themes, pros and cons, and how the thing you searched for is discussed. Or ask a question across everything the search collected ("which of these is quietest for working?") - answers name the businesses they draw on and show the exact reviews behind them. Every match also links back to its business's page on Google Maps. Everything runs on your computer. The meaning-based matching uses a small model that ships inside the extension, and summaries and answers use Chrome's built-in AI - no account, no API key, and nothing you search, read, or ask ever leaves your device. Summaries and answers need a computer Chrome's built-in AI supports (Chrome downloads its model once; it requires around 22 GB of free disk space) - on machines without it, all of the search features still work and the panel explains why the AI features are unavailable. Note: results depend on Google Maps' current page layout. Businesses whose pages could not be opened are counted and reported honestly rather than silently skipped.
