Shows Lake Ontario and Gulf of Mexico in the Google Maps interface.
Google Maps International Names restores the internationally recognized labels **Lake Ontario** and **Gulf of Mexico** in Google Maps. Google Maps renders many geographic labels in a private map layer. This extension places a lightweight visual label above that layer when the relevant location and normal label zoom level are visible: - Gulf of Mexico at zoom level 4 and closer - Lake Ontario at zoom level 7 and closer The extension runs only on Google Maps. It does not modify Google Maps data, send browsing data to a server, or affect other websites. Use the extension button to turn the labels on or off.
