This extension automatically calculates the fuel consumption of a route. It also provides an estimate in liters/gallons needed to travel the route. Clicking on alternative routes in Google Maps recalculates the consumption based on the new route (it takes a few seconds to update). Using the gear icon, you can change the fuel consumption per liter/gallon for your car.
