Shows where Google results really go: replaces obfuscated /goto?url= links with the real destination and removes click tracking. Full description Google has started hiding where its search results lead. Result links now point to an opaque /goto?url=… address on google.com instead of the website itself. Hover a result and the status bar shows a Google URL. Copy a link and you get a tracking token instead of the page you wanted. Every click passes through Google's redirector first. Google goto Resolver puts the real links back. On any Google search page, it finds the obfuscated result links, asks Google's own redirector where each one points, and rewrites the link so it goes directly to the destination. Hovering shows the true URL again, copying gives you the real address, and the ping click-tracking attribute is removed. What happens under the hood, plainly: - One small request to google.com per unique link, sent without cookies. That is the same redirector your click would have hit anyway, minus your identity. - The destination website is never contacted until you click it. - Resolved links are remembered for the browser session, so revisiting a results page costs nothing. - Nothing is sent to anyone else. No analytics, no accounts, no data leaves your browser except those requests to google.com. Turn it off any time by clicking the toolbar icon. The icon turns grey, the badge reads OFF, and links already rewritten on open pages are restored to Google's originals. Click again to turn it back on. Works on Google search pages across Google's country domains. Free, open source, no configuration.
