I am having the exact same issue Berk Arslan had. I restarted Chrome to no avail. Do you know what processes/settings he had to adjust? Thanks! "For me, it opens the url with "about:blank" text and shows nothing at first. Then, when I click on the url, it automatically gets changed to the correct url ("filesystem:https://...") and then I press the Enter key and it shows the image. I still rated it 5 starts since there is no other extensions that does what this extension does but the bugs ... Show more

For me, it opens the url with "about:blank" text and shows nothing at first. Then, when I click on the url, it automatically gets changed to the correct url ("filesystem:https://...") and then I press the Enter key and it shows the image. I still rated it 5 stars since there is no other extensions that does what this extension does but the bugs should be fixed. Edit: Doesn't work anymore..

This works really well. Click the "expand" button in the lower right of any image, and it opens the full image as a file in a separate tab via the image's blob URL like: (blob:https://docs.google.com/{{image_uuid}}), so you can freely view/zoom/download the image with the browser like you would any other image, breaking it free from the confines of the google doc and its limited allowed interactions.
