It just doesn't work.

I am having the exact same issue Berk Arslan had. I restarted Chrome to no avail. Do you know what processes/settings he had to adjust? Thanks! "For me, it opens the url with "about:blank" text and shows nothing at first. Then, when I click on the url, it automatically gets changed to the correct url ("filesystem:https://...") and then I press the Enter key and it shows the image. This works really well. Click the "expand" button in the lower right of any image, and it opens the full image as a file in a separate tab via the image's blob URL like: (blob:https://docs.google.com/{{image_uuid}}), so you can freely view/zoom/download the image with the browser like you would any other image, breaking it free from the confines of the google doc and its limited allowed interactions.
