Overview

Check selected IPs against official Google crawler/bot ranges. Daily sync and alerts when lists change.

Google Crawlers & Bots IP List Checker helps technical SEO specialists quickly verify whether an IP address or IP range belongs to official Google crawler and bot networks. WHO IT IS FOR SEO professionals who review crawl logs, CDN/WAF dashboards (such as Cloudflare), server access logs, and bot traffic — especially when you need a fast, reliable way to confirm Google crawler IPs without leaving the page. HOW IT WORKS 1) Automatic list sync Once a day, the extension downloads Google’s published IP range JSON feeds and compares them with the locally stored lists. On the first run, it creates a quiet baseline (no spam notifications). After that, any newly added or removed IP ranges are recorded in the event log. 2) Change notifications If a range is added or removed, you get a desktop notification. Click it to open a clear summary: IP address or range | source file name | what changed (Added / Removed) If a feed is temporarily unavailable, your previous data is kept, and you are notified that a list could not be updated. 3) Instant checks on any page Select one or more IP addresses (or CIDR ranges) on a webpage, right-click, and choose “Check Google Crawlers & Bots IP List”. The extension extracts only valid IPs/ranges from your selection and ignores the rest of the text. • Green highlight = match (the IP is inside a Google CIDR, or your range is fully contained in a listed Google range) • Red highlight = not found in the current lists • If a missing IP/range used to be listed, you will also see when it was last removed • Matches can appear in multiple Google source files — all of them are shown 4) Popup tools Use the popup to see sync status, run a manual sync, or paste text for a quick check. 5) Settings & log Manage the list URLs (add, edit, or remove), review recent changes, and browse the full event history (newest first).
