Overview

Customize default settings for new Google Calendar events — start times, durations, and end times.

Stop adjusting the same time fields every time you create a meeting. Google Calendar Defaults lets you set your own rules for new events — so every meeting starts right, ends on time, and fits how you actually work. ────────────────────────────── HOW IT WORKS ────────────────────────────── 1. Click the extension icon to open the settings popup. 2. Set your preferred start offset, default duration, and end-time rule using the scroll wheels and dropdown. 3. Your settings are saved instantly. From now on, every new event you create on Google Calendar automatically respects your preferences — no clicks required. ────────────────────────────── FEATURES ────────────────────────────── • Start time offset — shift new events by 0–30 minutes after the clicked slot (great for "start 5 minutes late") • Default duration — set meetings to any length from 5 minutes to 3 hours • End-time presets — end meetings on the hour, or 5/10/15 minutes before the hour (the "Speedy meetings" equivalent you control) • Works on both the quick event bubble and the full event edit form • Settings sync across all your Chrome devices via Chrome Sync • Zero permissions beyond what's needed — only runs on calendar.google.com ────────────────────────────── PRIVACY ────────────────────────────── This extension stores only your three preference values (start offset, duration, end-time rule) in chrome.storage.sync. No calendar data is read or stored. No data is sent to any external server. See full privacy policy: https://lets-hangsoon.github.io/google-calendar-defaults/privacy-policy.html
