Overview

Inline editing for HTML and Markdown. Export your corrections as agent-ready instructions a model can learn from.

Ryker is a Chrome extension for inline editing a document and recording every change you make as a prompt-ready change request. There are two ways to use Ryker. Click the Ryker extension toolbar button on any HTML page to edit the document directly on the page. Or open the Ryker workspace and load a Markdown or HTML file from your own disk into Ryker's visual editor. As you edit, Ryker records each change as a prompt-ready change request that you can copy or download and hand to an agent assistant for implementation. HTML & Markdown HTML has become an increasingly useful format for delivering rich content when working directly with large language models. It can represent complete reports, tables, figures, layouts, and styled documents in a format that renders immediately in a browser. Markdown has likewise become a common format for creating and managing structured content. Both formats are easy for agents to generate, but editing them directly in an IDE is not always the best experience. Markdown often requires switching between source and preview views, while editing HTML source separates the author from the rendered document the reader will actually see. Inline editing lets the author work directly against that rendered experience. Ryker was built to provide an accessible, one-click editing environment for HTML and Markdown. Instead of treating the edited document as the only output, Ryker also records the revisions made during each editing round and turns them into an agent-ready change request. Features - Inline visual editing for HTML and Markdown - Export content changes as a machine-readable prompt - Visualize the document's heading-based outline - Quickly move or delete sections from the outline - Track revisions over time on a per-document basis - Export modified documents as new HTML files Ryker as a Drop-In Ryker can also be added directly to an HTML document through the NPX package manager. The drop-in version loads a lightweight Ryker editor with the document, allowing a reader or reviewer to edit the page directly and produce an agent-ready change request without installing the Chrome extension. npx --yes @gbti/ryker@next insert ./report.html GitHub The Ryker codebase is available at: https://github.com/gbti-network/ryker Please report bugs and other issues through the GitHub repository.
