How it works 1. Create an account or sign in and review the prompt-storage consent. 2. Open a supported AI platform and write your prompt. 3. Click the floating PromptIQ score beside the chat composer. 4. Choose an optimization mode and engine. 5. Review the optimized version and explanation. 6. Insert the improved prompt with one click. Privacy and security An account and express prompt-storage consent are required before PromptIQ reads a supported chat composer. After a short typing pause, PromptIQ stores only the latest revision of each prompt draft under that account for up to 30 days. Users can view, copy, or delete saved activity and can separately choose whether PromptIQ library searches are saved. Smart Template optimization runs locally and does not send prompt text to an AI provider. When a user deliberately selects cloud AI, PromptIQ sends that prompt through the secure PromptIQ backend to an eligible AI provider. PromptIQ does not include provider API keys in the extension package, does not sell user data, and does not use stored prompts for advertising.
