GoFullScreen captures the whole page, not just what fits on your screen. Click the GoFullScreen icon and the extension automatically finds the relevant scroll area, captures every section, and stitches everything into a single, full-resolution image. Processing happens entirely inside your browser. GoFullScreen works with traditional webpages as well as modern apps with independently scrolling content panels, including chat, email, and collaboration tools. HOW IT WORKS 1. Click the GoFullScreen icon in your toolbar or press Alt+Shift+S. 2. GoFullScreen automatically detects, scrolls, and captures the page or main content area. 3. Follow the optional progress indicator while the page moves, or disable animations in Settings for a faster capture. 4. Click the toolbar icon again at any time to stop the capture. 5. A new tab opens showing your complete screenshot. 6. Copy it, download it, edit it, or export it as a PDF. The default Smart capture mode works automatically. Settings also lets you select Main content only or Scrollable side panel only for apps with multiple independent scroll areas. Your preferences are stored locally on your device. You can choose a maximum part height of 3000, 4000, or 5000 pixels. Adjacent parts overlap by 160 pixels so text and visual context are not cut exactly at an image boundary. The complete master screenshot remains available for viewing, editing, copying, PDF export, and full-image download. If you enable it, GoFullScreen stores up to five recent screenshots and a maximum of approximately 250 MB in your browser's local IndexedDB storage. • Stored only on your device • No page URLs or page titles are stored • Oldest captures are removed automatically when a limit is reached • Open or delete individual captures from the History panel • Clear all saved captures from Settings or the History panel • Turning history off immediately removes older captures and retains only the current capture temporarily BUILT FOR PRIVACY GoFullScreen never sends your screenshots or page content anywhere. There is no backend server, analytics, tracking, advertising, or account system. Screenshots are captured, assembled, edited, stored, and exported entirely inside your browser. Local history is optional and disabled by default. See the linked Privacy Policy for complete details. SUPPORT Open the Support page directly from Settings to report a problem, ask a question, or suggest an improvement. You can optionally copy diagnostic info containing only the extension version, browser version, and capture settings. It never includes a page URL, screenshot, or captured page content. WHEN GOFULLSCREEN CANNOT CAPTURE A PAGE Chrome does not allow extensions to run the page scripts required for full-page capture on protected browser pages. This includes the Chrome Web Store, the Chrome Web Store Developer Dashboard, chrome:// pages, Chrome's built-in PDF viewer, and pages belonging to other extensions. When this happens, GoFullScreen explains the Chrome security restriction and offers a safe public test page. This is expected browser behavior, not a GoFullScreen error. GoFullScreen never attempts to bypass Chrome's security protections.
