Overview

Shows, live, what share of the meeting you have been talking. Everything stays in your browser.

See your share of the conversation while you are in a Google Meet call. Yaplet adds a small floating widget showing your estimated speaking share, your talk time, and meeting duration. Use it to notice when you are taking most of the air time or barely participating. Features: • Live speaking share: your talk time divided by your talk time plus everyone else's combined speaking time. • A fair-share marker based on the number of people who have spoken, with participant count as a fallback. • A per-person speaking list using visible participant tiles and Meet's speaking indicators. • A widget you can drag or collapse. • Download the widget as a PNG image, or select a past meeting in the popup to view and download its saved summary. • Locally saved sessions that can resume after a reload or brief connection drop. • Weekly statistics and saved meeting summaries, with meeting names when available. • Adjustable warning thresholds and a Clear history button. How to use: 1. Install the extension and reload any already-open Google Meet tabs. 2. Join a Google Meet call and allow microphone access if your browser requests it. 3. Watch the floating meter during the call, or open the extension popup to see history and settings. Privacy: Audio levels are processed locally. No audio recordings or transcripts are saved. Meeting codes, participant names and identifiers, speaking-time statistics, and preferences are stored in your browser. The extension does not send them to the developer, and contains no advertising or analytics. Downloaded summary images can include participant names and speaking-time statistics; sharing them is your choice. Measurements are estimates. Headphones give the best results. The per-person list depends on visible participant tiles, so it can miss people whose tiles Meet hides. Google Meet interface changes can affect detection. If you switch microphones mid-call, rejoin the call to meter the new device. Yaplet is an independent extension and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
