Nesgate: AI Data Protection
Overview
Keeps passwords, IDs, card numbers and confidential files out of ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and other AI tools. Runs on your device.
Nesgate checks your message before it reaches an AI tool, so secrets never leave your device by accident. It works right where you type. In any AI chat app, Nesgate reads your message, your files and your images before you send, and shows you what it found. You decide what to hide. Nothing is sent until you press Send. What it protects: Passwords, API keys and tokens ID cards and national ID numbers, for many countries, read from pictures too Credit cards, bank accounts and IBANs E-mails, phone numbers and names Confidential documents and attachments How hiding works. When you hide a part, it becomes a short label such as [CREDIT_CARD_1] or [NAME_1]. The AI still understands your message, because the meaning stays. The real value never leaves your browser. Your diagnosis, your question and the substance of your work are kept, only the identifiers are hidden. On your device, and private. Every check runs locally in your browser. If your company uses the Nesgate console, it sees only masked findings for reporting, never what you typed. Personal or team. Use Nesgate on your own for free, or connect it to a company console for shared policy, custom rules and reporting.
