Setu turns "change this button" into a real change in your code. Point at anything on the site you're building, say what you want in your own words, and the AI assistant you already use makes the edit. No describing where the element is, no copying prompts back and forth. Think of a designer pointing at a screen and telling the person next to them exactly what to change. Setu is the pointing finger. Your AI is the one who makes the change. HOW IT WORKS 1. Point at it. Click the crosshair, then click the thing you want to change. Setu works out exactly which element it is, its component and its framework. 2. Say what to change. Plain words ("make this heading bolder"), or an exact edit for text, colour, font size, visibility or spacing. An exact edit is applied as written, not interpreted. 3. Line them up, then send. Point at several things and send them together, instead of interrupting your AI once per fix. 4. Approve or reject. When your AI finishes, the change shows up in Setu with a note saying what it did. Approve it, or reject it and say what's wrong. A rejected change goes back with everything that was tried, so the next attempt is informed rather than a guess. If your AI is not sure what you meant, it asks you in Setu, and your answer goes straight back to it. SEVERAL PROJECTS AT ONCE Working with more than one AI session? Each change goes only to the AI working on that page's project, so a change on one site never ends up in another. If no AI is working on it, Setu says so on the change itself. SETUP: ONE COPY, ONE PASTE Open the site you're building and click the Setu icon. Copy the setup text it shows you and paste it to your AI. Your AI starts Setu's helper itself, and the panel turns green when it's ready. There is no file to edit. You need Node.js 22 or newer, and an AI coding assistant that can run commands on your computer. After your first approved change, Setu offers one short message for your AI. Paste it once, and Setu starts on its own whenever your AI tool is open, so you never paste the setup text again. KNOWS YOUR COMPONENTS Setu recognises React, Next.js, Vue and Angular, and tells your AI the component name and source file when it can find them, so your AI spends less time looking for the right file. PRIVACY Your code never leaves your computer. What you point at and what you ask for travel between the extension and your AI through a small helper running on your own machine. To send each change to the right project, the helper checks which folder on your computer serves the page; that stays on your computer too. Setu only works on sites running on your own computer and on local HTML files, never on public websites. Setu collects anonymous usage statistics so we can see which features get used. It never collects your code, the elements you point at, your page contents, or the addresses you visit.
