Ghost Recorder turns any web meeting into notes you'll actually use — without a creepy bot joining your call. ■ One click records the meeting tab (video + both sides' audio, no echo) — even if you switch tabs or minimize. ■ AI notes in your style: Summary, Decisions, Action items — General, Sales (BANT + CRM-ready snippet), 1:1/Standup, or your own custom templates. Edit the notes prompt and Ask AI prompt yourself. ■ Transcript with speakers, timestamps, and per-speaker colors/filter — click any line and the built-in player jumps to that moment. Subtitle files (.srt/.vtt/.txt) saved alongside every recording. ■ Closed the meeting by accident? Continue it later — one continuous transcript across parts. ■ Ask AI anything about one meeting or your whole history, with chat memory per meeting: "What did I promise this week?" ■ Edit the summary in place if something needs a fix; your original transcript is never touched. ■ Send notes elsewhere: copy as Markdown or as plain text for chat or email, or an optional secure webhook to your own tools. ■ Works on any web meeting — if the meeting runs in a Chrome tab, it can be recorded. What's new in 5.22.0 (everything since 5.10.1, the version store users have now): - Notes that never get stuck: long meetings are transcribed in 10-minute pieces while you record, so notes are ready about a minute after you stop, and every step has a time limit. - Your own backup plan: pick a first model and backups for transcription and for notes, add more than one free key, and see which model did what on every meeting. - Clear action items: grouped by person, with a checkbox and a clickable time for each. - Every transcript line names who spoke, and if the AI service fails on a part you see exactly which part, with one button to transcribe it again. - Ask AI: answers reliably, follows your backup plan, click any time in an answer to jump there, and the quick buttons give complete summaries including what the meeting means for you. - Safer recordings: the app only says "Recording" when it really is, recovers recordings after a browser crash (including in-person ones), and two recordings in the same minute no longer overwrite each other. - All your past meetings are kept, and you can continue any earlier meeting from the popup, even an old one. - Lighter: video at 5 frames per second by default (turn on "Smooth video" for 10), and far less disk writing during long meetings. - Subtitles, chapters, skip silence, editable prompts and templates, one simple Settings page with one Save button.
