Overview

Automatically convert selected text to hyperlinks when pasting URLs in Gmail and Google Calendar

Convert selected text into clickable links when you paste URLs in Gmail and Google Calendar. How it works: 1. Select text in a Gmail compose window or Google Calendar event description 2. Paste a URL from your clipboard 3. The selected text becomes a hyperlink pointing to that URL (Tada!) Benefits: - Saves you time to manually open link formatting dialog - More similiar behaviour to apps you already use (e.g Slack, Notion, etc.) The extension doesn't store or collect any data. The code is publicly available on https://github.com/wirtzdan/gmail-url-paste
