Overview
Insert clean, styled tables into Gmail compose in one click. Built for outbound and ops teams by Makeinfo.
Gmail Table Inserter adds a one-click "Insert Table" button to Gmail's compose toolbar. Pick a size on a Google-Docs-style hover grid, and a clean, styled HTML table lands right at your cursor — no copy-pasting from Sheets, no fighting with pasted screenshots that break in recipients' inboxes. Built for outbound and ops teams who send structured data in email every day: pricing tables, meeting recaps, weekly reports, and comparison charts. KEY FEATURES ✅ One-click table insert Click "Insert Table" in the Gmail compose toolbar — no menus, no add-on sidebar to open first. ✅ Google-Docs-style hover grid Hover over a 10×10 grid to pick your rows × columns, just like inserting a table in Google Docs. Click to insert instantly. ✅ Clean, professional styling out of the box Every table ships with a teal header row and light row striping, styled with inline CSS so it renders consistently across Gmail, Outlook, and every major email client. ✅ Works inline in Gmail compose The table is inserted directly at your cursor position in the compose window — keep typing around it like any other content. ✅ No account, no setup Install and go. No sign-up, no API keys, no configuration screens. --- HOW IT WORKS 1. Install the extension and open Gmail (mail.google.com). 2. Click Compose to start a new email (or reply to an existing thread). 3. Click the "Insert Table" button in the compose toolbar. 4. Hover over the grid to choose how many rows and columns you need. 5. Click to insert the table at your cursor. 6. Table HTML is generated locally and inserted directly into the compose window. • No email content, contacts, or messages are read, collected, or transmitted anywhere. • The only data stored is a local monthly insert counter, kept in Chrome's chrome.storage.local on your device. • No account, sign-up, or license key is required to use the extension. • No backend servers are involved in generating or inserting tables. --- GETTING STARTED 1. Install Gmail Table Inserter from the Chrome Web Store. 2. Open or refresh Gmail (mail.google.com). 3. Click Compose and look for the "Insert Table" button in the toolbar. 4. Hover the grid, pick a size, and click to insert your first table. --- SUPPORT & FEEDBACK Having an issue or have a feature request? • Support: info@makeinfo.co • Website: https://makeinfo.co We read every message and appreciate your feedback.
