Overview

Makes URLs in Gmail subject lines clickable.

Do you email yourself links as quick notes, with everything in the subject and an empty body? Gmail shows those URLs as plain text, so you have to select, copy and paste them. Gmail Subject Links turns them into real, clickable links. What it does: • Links URLs (http:// and https://) in the subject of the open email and in the inbox list. • Opens them in a new tab. In the inbox list, clicking the link opens the link only, not the email. • Leaves trailing punctuation out of the link. • Only changes what you see. Your emails are never modified. Privacy: • No data collected, stored or sent anywhere. • No network requests, no analytics. • Runs only on mail.google.com. • About 60 lines of open source JavaScript: https://github.com/benjaminb10/gmail-subject-links
