Gmail Sidebar Width

Adjust the width of Gmail's left sidebar (Inbox, Starred, Labels) with a simple slider.

Make Gmail's left sidebar wider or narrower by dragging its edge. Long label names like "Clients / Johnson Construction Project" get cut off in Gmail's default sidebar. This extension adds a small handle to the right edge of the sidebar so you can resize it to any width you like. How it works: - Hover over the right edge of Gmail's sidebar until the blue line appears - Drag it wider or narrower (160px to 600px) - Double-click the edge to go back to Gmail's normal width - Collapsing the menu with the ☰ button still works as usual Your chosen width is saved and applied automatically to every Gmail tab, even after restarting Chrome. Privacy: This extension does not read, collect, or send any of your email or personal data. It only adds a few style rules to Gmail's page to change the sidebar width. Your width setting is stored locally in Chrome. This extension is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
