Gmail Mod

Works with Gmail in Chrome. Finally a solution to this annoying problem.

EDIT: I removed and readded the extension and now it works again :) Worked great on Brave but after browser update today it stopped working (the play icon no longer appears next to the "Download" and "Add to Drive" icons) Hope this gets updated soon

It works great using on Edge browser. Also I have the extension Gmail settings extender for easier access to videos in attachments.

March 28, 2023 - This extension used to work fine but it stopped working a few days ago and now is useless! What's up??

Dear William, There has been no recent changes to Gmail Mod so maybe a Chrome update broke something. Another user also had issues and removing and reinstalling the extension worked for him. Maybe you can try this. When that doesn't work please contact me at codemeteor@gmail.com and we try to find a solution. Kind regards, Tim De Graeve

Wish it worked, but it does not.

Excellent program thank you very much! For those that read this, in gmail the thumbnail gets a new tiny play button...don't just click on the icon - that'll bring up the normal gmail download this file prompt...look on the attachment email for the play > triangle. Worked great for me, viewing security alerts for a camera/alarm system. Using Win 10 and Chrome.

Still have windows 7 and it works like a dream. Thanks.

Excellent. Thank you for sharing. I went to the link and it auto loaded. I shut down the browser and re-opened as per Allan Barnes comment and it works for me in both Chrome & Edge (Chrome based) so I'm puzzled by some of the negative responses.
