Overview

Turns Google Drive links in Gmail messages into clean attachment-style cards with previews and download helpers.

Gmail Drive Attachment Cards turns Google Drive links inside Gmail messages into clean, attachment-style cards that are easier to recognize, preview, open, and save. When viewing Gmail, the extension detects Google Drive file links in email messages and displays helpful cards with file names, thumbnails or previews when available, and quick actions. This makes Drive-linked attachments easier to work with, especially when emails contain multiple shared files. Key features: • Turns Google Drive links in Gmail into clean attachment-style cards • Shows file previews or thumbnails when available • Provides quick open and copy actions • Supports Drive API save/download workflows when the user authorizes access • Uses the signed-in user’s own Google permissions, not a shared company account • Only accesses Drive files the user already has permission to view • Designed for internal productivity and cleaner Gmail workflows This extension does not grant users access to files they cannot already open. Google Drive permissions continue to control access.
