Power Automate UI Switcher opens your flows in the designer you prefer, classic or modern, and makes the classic designer faster and easier to work with. DESIGNER SWITCH • Flow and run pages open in the classic or modern designer, also when you move around inside Power Automate. Other pages are left unchanged. • Switch in the popup or with Alt+Shift+D (Option+Shift+D on Mac). The toolbar badge shows OLD or NEW. EXPRESSION EDITOR • A larger editor with word wrap; drag its corner to set your own size. • Function | Dynamic content below the editor, with a search box, so you can add dynamic content without leaving the expression. • Bracket colors as in VS Code. A missing or extra bracket shows in red. • Format a long expression over several lines, or put it back on one line. Enter keeps the indentation, and a picked function gets its brackets. • Move the popup by its handle, and confirm with Ctrl+Enter (Cmd+Enter on Mac). ACTIONS • Search all actions by name or by what is in them, also inside collapsed blocks, with an outline view and Find usages. Alt+Shift+F. • Select several actions to delete or move them together, with Undo. • Copy and paste actions, and rename an action or edit its note in one click. • Edit the JSON of the flow or of one action, and replace text across the flow after a preview. • A condition editor with rows, groups, And and Or in Filter array and Do until. • Full expressions writes each rule of a Condition out in full, instead of a value cut off, with the names of trigger inputs. • Review flow checks the flow for mistakes that Flow checker does not report: no error handling, an unsecured secret, a parallel loop that changes a variable, a Get items without a filter, unused variables and default names. Alt+V. • Insert a step before the first action inside a loop, scope, condition or switch. RUNS • Filter runs: all runs of a flow in one list instead of 50 at a time. Filter on status, dates and any column, search the trigger content, add trigger fields as columns, export to CSV, and resubmit or cancel several runs at once. • Runs in the designer's command bar lists the runs next to the canvas, so you can go from run to run. • Go to error opens the failed action, also inside collapsed scopes and loops. • See which rule of a Condition was true, how many items each array has, and drag the raw inputs/outputs panel wider. COMFORT • Nine themes for the classic designer, and a choice of font for the action names. • Pan with the middle mouse button (or the left one, as in the new designer), keep your place when a card closes, and collapse all cards with Alt+Shift+C. • Safe save waits until your last edit is processed, and the designer stays responsive in flows of hundreds of actions. • A one-minute tour, a guide with a search box, and a settings window with a switch for every feature. Check features shows whether each feature still works with the current designer. PRIVACY The extension changes Power Automate's v3 URL parameter and how the designer looks and behaves in your browser. It changes a flow only when you ask it to, and only saves when you select Save or press Ctrl/Cmd+S. Filter runs reads, resubmits and cancels runs through Power Automate itself, with your own sign-in. Nothing is sent to the developer or anyone else. Your settings are stored with Chrome sync. Feedback goes to a Google Form that you fill in yourself.
