Speed Control • Compatible with nearly all video and audio streaming sites including Youtube, Netflix, Spotify, podcast sites, etc. • Tabs can have their own playback rate. • URL rules to automatically set a custom playback rate depending on the website. • Optional shortcut keys to control speed. Media Hotkeys • Rewinding/forwarding, frame by frame analysis, adjusting volume, darken background, set mark, go to mark, repeat segment, and more. • Select what video/audio you want prioritized for media hotkeys. - Shortcuts support multiple trigger modes, including context menu, and global shortcuts, which allows you to control background music or PiP videos while using another application. Filters • Apply filters (invert, grayscale, brightness, contrast, mirroring etc) on videos or even the entire page. • Configure hotkeys to toggle invert, adjust brightness or contrast, and more. Audio Effects • Effects including pitch shifting, volume boosting, EQ (equalizer), reverse audio, and more. • You can delay audio to fix sync issues. • Configure hotkeys to adjust pitch, volume boost, and more. Global Speed is THE best chrome extension for medical students. It should be built in. I love telling other students about it because we really need something like this to speed up through the parts we know and slow down and skip back to review certain parts of lectures. The app is incredibly intuitive and I also love the great customization features. Would gladly donate to show appreciation to the devs. GS is a time saver and therefore a life saver.

Has been working perfectly for a long time now. Thank you to the devs! Weird-case request, if possible, could we push it past 16x playback? If not, the extension is perfect as is. =)
