WHAT IT SHOWS • 5-Hour Window — the quota that resets every 5 hours, as a percentage with a segmented load meter • Weekly — your 7-day rolling quota • MCP Tools — the shared call quota for Web Search, Web Reader and Zread, with calls used vs. allowance and a per-tool breakdown • Quota resets — if Z.ai has granted you a one-time reset card, see it under the matching window and use it right from the popup • Live countdown to each reset, plus the exact reset time in your local timezone • A toolbar badge with your current 5-hour usage %, color-coded (green → amber → red) and refreshed every 5 minutes NOTIFICATIONS When a quota window reaches 90%, you get one desktop notification per reset cycle — enough warning to wrap up what you're doing before hitting the limit, without nagging you every five minutes. QUOTA RESETS Z.ai occasionally grants one-time reset cards that put a window straight back to 100%. When you have one, the 5-Hour or Weekly card shows it with its expiry date and a "Reset now" button. You confirm before anything is spent, and using a weekly reset also resets the 5-hour window. Afterwards the card shows when it was last reset. Resets are optional on Z.ai's side; if your account has none, the card simply doesn't show the row. SETUP Paste the same Z.ai API key your coding tools use (Z.ai dashboard → API Keys). That's it. PRIVACY Your key is stored only in your browser's local storage and is sent to exactly one place: api.z.ai — to read your own usage data and, only when you press "Reset now", to use a reset you already own.
