GlideRead opens online novel and comic chapters in a focused reading view. On supported sites, the next chapter or episode follows the one you are reading. ### Read novels - Adjust text size, line spacing, and reading width. - Choose a color preset or save your own background and text colors. - Jump between loaded chapters. Use optional text replacement rules to clean up recurring clutter. ### Read comics - Scroll through comic images vertically. On supported pages, images appear as they become available, and split pages join in reading order. - Set a separate comic width, open an image for a closer look, or retry a failed image in place. - Pick up from your saved position within a chapter or comic image. ### Choose where GlideRead runs Open a chapter and grant access to that site from the extension popup. Use the floating button to reopen the reader on supported pages. If detection needs adjustment, edit the chapter content or image selector and the continuation link. Choose English, Simplified Chinese, or Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) for the interface. Reading progress, preferences, and rules stay in your browser. Chapter requests go to the original website and may use your existing site session. Comic images may load from the site's image host. The temporary-tab option requires separate approval for the site. GlideRead supports desktop Chrome 120 and later. Detection and continuous reading depend on the site's layout and available content. GlideRead does not bypass logins, paywalls, or verification. Private windows are unsupported.
