Overview

Gleam - Arweave/AO browser extension wallet

Gleam is a secure HypeBEAM, Arweave and AO wallet for Chrome. Hold and send AR and AO tokens, upload files to the permaweb, and connect to Arweave dApps, with every signature request shown clearly before you approve it. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Create a new Arweave wallet or import an existing one from its JWK keyfile • See your AR and AO token balances, with live USD prices and portfolio history • Send and receive AR and AO tokens, with address QR codes and a saved contacts list • Track all your activity in one feed that combines your AR transfers and AO token sends, with pending transactions confirmed automatically • Upload files permanently to Arweave with your own custom tags • Manage several wallets and switch between them in one click • Add any AO token by process ID • Use Gleam in the popup or in Chrome's side panel BUILT FOR DAPPS Gleam provides the standard Wallet API and is compatible with dApps built for ArConnect. Each app must ask for your permission before it can connect, and you can review or revoke connected apps at any time. Every signing request opens its own approval window with a readable preview of what you are signing: the recipient, amount, tags and data. You approve or reject it there. SECURITY • Your keys are encrypted with your password and stored only on your device • Gleam never sends your keys or password to any server • Auto-lock after a period of inactivity you choose, or lock the wallet instantly • Uploads are checked for private keys, so you can't publish a secret to the permanent web by accident • Gleam asks for access to a new network host only when you add it AO AND HYPERBEAM AO balances are read from HyperBEAM nodes. Gleam comes with default peers, and you can add your own in Network settings. You can also choose your Arweave gateway. Gleam is non-custodial. You alone control your keys. Back up your keyfile, because a lost keyfile cannot be recovered. Gleam is opensource and can be audited at https://github.com/skyf0xx/gleam-arweave-ao-hyperbeam-wallet
