Glancewell

Personal browser dashboard, replaces the new tab page.

Glancewell turns every new tab into your personal workspace: tasks, calendar, notes and focus tools in one place. FEATURES • Home: a customizable grid of widgets. Drag, resize and choose what shows: tasks due, today's reminders, clock, world time, quick links, most visited sites, sticky note, journal and more. • Tasks: due dates, tags, urgency and a 30 day Recently Deleted bin. • Calendar: events and tasks with due dates in one agenda. • Notes: notebooks, folders and tabs with rich text, plus Markdown export and import. • Kanban Board: projects with Idea, Open, Review, Done and On Hold columns. Link any card to a task. • Habit Tracker: daily check-ins with streaks. • Pomodoro: Simple mode with three quick presets (focus, break, cycles) or your own step-by-step presets, a bell, a small timer pill on other websites, and optional focus blocking of distracting sites. • Quick Links, Code Snippets, a Quick Tools calculator and a World Clock for other time zones. • Ambient Sounds: rain, ocean, cafe and bird sounds, or upload your own. • Themes: light and dark presets, custom colors, or colors picked from your own wallpaper photo. • Desktop pets that walk along the bottom of the page. • Optional reminders and Spotify playback controls. HOW TO USE 1. Install the extension and open a new tab. 2. Use the sidebar to switch between pages. Open Settings with the cog at the bottom. 3. Everything saves as you type. Use Settings > Export & Import to back up your data. PRIVACY No ads, no analytics, no accounts. Your data stays in your browser and syncs through your own Chrome sync. Nothing is sent to the developer. Spotify is off until you connect it yourself. PERMISSIONS • Read your browsing history: only to show your most visited sites on the Home page. It never leaves your device. • Show notifications: reminders and the Pomodoro bell. • Access to all sites is optional and only requested if you turn on focus blocking, in-page reminders or the Pomodoro timer pill on websites.
