The Positive Project
Overview
Turns down politics, outrage and doom on YouTube and Reddit. Runs entirely on your device.
The Positive Project quietly turns down the content that winds you up on YouTube and Reddit: politics, war, crime, tragedy, rage-bait, doom and hostile comments. The rest of your feed stays exactly as it was. • Works the moment you install it. No account, no setup. • You decide how much you see. Pick Gentle, Calm or Peaceful, or set each topic to Show, Less or Hide. • Nothing disappears behind your back. Turned-down items become a small note that says why, and one click shows them. • Add your own words or names to hide. • Always show the channels and subreddits you trust. • Pause for an hour when you want the full picture. • See what was turned down today, and how much. Private by design: small language models ship inside the extension and run on your device. What you browse is never sent anywhere. It has no servers, no analytics and no tracking. It reads titles and comments, not images or video, and works in English and French. It won't catch everything, and now and then it will turn down something harmless; one click shows it.
