Chat Categories for WhatsApp Web
Overview
Sort WhatsApp Web chats into categories and filter the chat list by category.
Chat Categories adds a category bar above WhatsApp Web. Sort your chats into your own categories, such as Leads, Clients or Suppliers, and see one category at a time. This is an internal tool. To use it, you need an account from your administrator. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Category tabs above WhatsApp Web, with chat and unread counts • Click a tab to show only that category's chats in WhatsApp's own chat list • Add many chats to a category at once: search by name or number, tick, add • Categorise the open chat from the bar, or press Alt+C • Rename, recolour, add an emoji, reorder, merge or delete categories • Your categories are saved to your account and follow you to any computer you sign in on • Works offline, and catches up when you're back online • Import and export to a file PRIVACY Chat Categories never reads your messages and contains no analytics. It reads your chat list (names, ids and unread counts) to show your categories, and saves only your categories and which chats are in them to your organisation's server. Nothing is shared with anyone else. Full details are in the privacy policy. Chat Categories is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta.
