Overview
Export your LinkedIn profile to a clean, ATS-friendly PDF resume.
Turn your LinkedIn profile into a professional resume that gets past applicant tracking systems (ATS), without retyping a single line. ExportMyResume is a Chrome extension plus an online CV builder: one click to start, then edit, tailor to each job posting and download a PDF or Word file. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open your own LinkedIn profile and click the ExportMyResume icon. 2. Click Import. Your work experience, education, skills, languages, certifications, projects, volunteering, honors and publications come across automatically. 3. Edit what you want, pick a template, export. WHY ATS-FRIENDLY MATTERS Most companies run every job application through an applicant tracking system before a recruiter or hiring manager sees it. Columns, tables and decorative layouts read as noise to that software, and strong candidates get rejected over formatting. ExportMyResume keeps the document clean and machine-readable, so what you wrote is what the system reads, and your skills match the keywords it searches for. WHAT YOU GET • One-click import of your own profile: no copy-paste, no manual data entry • A full resume editor with live preview: rewrite bullet points, reorder sections, add your own (driver's license, hobbies…), hide what you don't need • Clean templates that both screening software and recruiters can read, with an optional photo for countries where a curriculum vitae usually has one • Export as PDF, Word (DOCX), PNG, JSON or plain text (TXT) • Multiple versions: a tailored CV for every role or industry • Optional AI Enhancer: stronger phrasing, grammar, formatting and keywords, plus translation of your CV into the language you choose • Optional AI Tailoring: paste a job description, adjust your summary and bullets to the vacancy, see which keywords match and add missing skills in one click • Interface in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Russian and Ukrainian PRIVACY The import runs in your browser. Your password and session are never read, and the extension never connects, messages or posts on your behalf. Your data leaves your device only when you ask: • If you use the AI features, your resume text (and a job posting, if you pasted one) is sent to our server and on to our LLM provider to generate the suggestions, then discarded. It is never used to train AI models. • With an account, your resumes are stored so they sync across your devices. You can delete the account and everything in it at any time. • Some export formats are generated on our server; the content is used to produce the file and is not kept. IMPORTANT It works only with your own profile — the one you are signed in to and viewing. Other people's profiles are not supported. FREE AND PAID The extension is free: import, build and edit your resume, and export it as a watermarked image or plain text. No payment and no account needed to start. Pro removes the watermark and adds PDF, DOCX and JSON export, multiple versions, unlimited AI improvements and tailoring, and priority support. Weekly, annual, or one-time lifetime purchase. ExportMyResume is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to LinkedIn. LinkedIn is a trademark of LinkedIn Corporation.
