BeePlus for Beekeeper

Profile cards on hover, pinned chats, quick polls, reminders and personal stats for Beekeeper by LumApps. Unofficial add-on.

BeePlus adds six small tools to the Beekeeper by LumApps web app. Each one can be switched on or off on its own, and none of them needs any setup. WHAT IT DOES Profile Hover Hover over a profile picture and a card shows the profile fields you picked, for example position, department, location or supervisor. BeePlus finds your organization's custom profile fields by itself. You tick the ones you want to see and set their order. Sticky Pinned Chats Pin the chats you need most. They stay in a fixed block above the chat list, however active the other chats are. Hover over a chat and click the pin to add or remove it. Quick Polls A round poll button appears at the bottom right while a message field is visible. Enter a question and one option per line, and BeePlus writes a numbered poll into your message. Colleagues vote by reacting with the number of their choice. Reminder Bot Right-click a message and choose when you want to see it again: in 5 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours, tomorrow morning, or after a number of minutes you enter. A desktop notification reminds you at that time. If Chrome was closed in the meantime, the reminder appears the next time you start it. Personal Stats Messages sent, reactions given, active days and your busiest hour, with a chart by time of day. Only you see these numbers. They are counted on your device and stay there. Theme Tweaks Compact layout, larger text, stronger focus outlines or your own CSS. Beekeeper's own theme setting still controls the colors. SETTINGS The options page lists all six features with a switch each and has a settings page for every feature. It supports light and dark mode. BeePlus is available in English and German. It starts in your browser's language, and you can switch at any time. PRIVACY AND PERMISSIONS BeePlus has no server of its own and contains no analytics or tracking. It works with the Beekeeper session you are already signed in to, so it needs no password and no API token, and it can only show profile data that you could also open in Beekeeper yourself. It never sends a message on its own: a poll is placed in your message field, and you decide whether to send it. Reminders and statistics are stored on your device. Settings and pinned chats are stored in Chrome's synced storage, so they follow your Chrome profile if Chrome Sync is on. Permissions: "storage" for your settings, "alarms" and "notifications" for reminders, "scripting" to reload BeePlus in open Beekeeper tabs after an update, and access to *.beekeeper.io.
