Overview

See at a glance whether a site loads over IPv6 or IPv4, with server IPs, HTTPS status and timings for every domain.

6or4 shows whether the site you're on was reached over IPv6 or IPv4, right in the toolbar. The toolbar icon shows the page's own IP version as a large 6 or 4, plus small marks for the other versions its resources used. Click it to see every domain the page connected to: • Server IP address, colored by IPv6 or IPv4 • HTTPS status for each domain • Request count, fastest first response and slowest completed request • HTTP errors (4xx/5xx), WebSocket, prefetch, Service Worker and cached requests • An IPv6 share and a per-host strip for the whole page • Optional Geo info: ASN, country and network owner of public addresses Handy for network engineers, web developers and anyone testing IPv6 deployments or NAT64/DNS64 networks. Settings are right in the popup: turn Geo info on or off, choose a lookup service (bgp.he.net, info.addr.tools, ipinfo.io, or your own URL), and review detected NAT64 prefixes. Select a domain or IP and right-click to look it up. Privacy: connection details are read locally from Chrome's webRequest API; passive capture sends nothing anywhere. Geo info is off by default. When you turn it on, only public server IP addresses (never page URLs or domain names) are sent to ip.sb, with ipwho.is as a fallback. Results are cached on your device and can be cleared anytime. Available in English and Simplified Chinese. 6or4 is an open-source fork of IPvFoo by Paul Marks, licensed under Apache-2.0: https://github.com/JohnsonRan/6or4
