How it works Gmail: reads your compose box at the moment you click Send, and records the email only if Gmail confirms it sent. Slack and WhatsApp Web: sees messages you send as they appear. Messages already on screen when you open a chat are ignored. It never reads your inbox, the messages people send you, other tabs, your history or your files. Commitments appear in a review queue.
