Overview
Adds a Setup manual button to GitHub repos: will it run on your device, what you need, and the steps for macOS, Windows or Linux.
Found a great project on GitHub but not sure how to run it? gitmanual adds a "Setup manual" button to every GitHub repository, next to Star and Fork. One click opens the repo's setup manual on gitmanual.com: • Will it work on your device? A yes / maybe / no for macOS, Windows or Linux and your chip, with reasons. • Parts list: the runtimes, tools, databases and settings it needs. • Step-by-step commands for your system, plus a setup script you can download. • The maintainers' own downloads, guides and docs, first. Tip: you can also swap "hub" for "manual" in any GitHub link: github.com/owner/repo → gitmanual.com/owner/repo Private by design: the extension only reads the repository name on the page you're viewing. It makes no network requests and collects no data. Open source: https://github.com/zainudinnoori/gitmanual
