GitLab Todo Notifier
Overview
View, manage, and get notifications for your GitLab todos
If you use GitLab daily, you know how easy it is to miss a todo — a review request buried in your inbox, an assigned issue you forgot about, or a mention you never saw. GitLab Todo Notifier fixes that by bringing your todos right to your browser toolbar. WHY INSTALL THIS? GitLab's built-in todo page requires you to keep checking it manually. This extension checks for you in the background and notifies you instantly when something needs your attention — so you can respond faster, stay organized, and never drop the ball. WHAT IT DOES 🔔 Desktop Notifications — Get alerted the moment a new todo arrives. Choose your notification sound and filter by activity type so you only hear about what matters: assignments, mentions, review requests, merge approvals, and more. 📋 Quick Todo Management — View, search, filter, and manage all your todos from a popup without ever leaving your current tab. Mark todos as done individually or in bulk. Click any todo to jump straight to the issue, merge request, or epic. ⏰ Reminders — Not ready to act on a todo? Snooze it for 30 minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours, or until tomorrow. You'll get a reminder when it's time. 🔍 Smart Filters & Search — Find any todo instantly. Filter by type (Issue, MR, Epic), action, or project. Sort by date, project, type, or action. Search by title, description, author, or project name. ⌨️ Keyboard Shortcuts — Power users can manage everything from the keyboard. Alt+G to open, arrow keys to navigate, Enter to open, D to mark done, / to search. Press ? for the full list. 🎨 Themes — Dark, Light, or System theme that matches your OS preference automatically. 🔐 100% Private — Your access token and data never leave your device. The extension only talks to your GitLab instance. Zero analytics, zero tracking, zero external servers.
