Overview
High-resolution project and user icons in GitLab
Improves the look of project and user icons in GitLab for users of Retina monitors. It finds avatar images in GitLab pages and provides the browser with a higher-resolution version of them, if it exists. Background: GitLab users can upload high-resolution icons, but unfortunately GitLab currently scales them down to 48px. This extension attempts to request a less downscaled version of the icon. Main issue with Gitlab overzealous downscaling is filed as https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab/-/issues/345020
