Overview

Auto-expand, scroll to, and highlight resolved (collapsed) review comments from their permalink on GitHub PRs.

Ever clicked a link to a resolved review comment on a GitHub PR and landed at the top of the page with nothing highlighted? It's a long-standing GitHub bug. A resolved thread gets collapsed, a collapsed thread has no position on the page, so a permalink like ...#discussion_r… has nowhere to scroll to. This extension fixes it. Open a permalink to a resolved comment and it'll: • expand the collapsed thread (lazy-loaded content included) • scroll straight to the comment • flash a quick highlight so you can find it Doesn't matter how you got there — new tab, pasted into the address bar, clicked inside a PR (Turbo navigation), back/forward button. All handled. Regular comments and non-PR pages? Left alone entirely. Why bother: • no more review comments lost behind collapsed threads • code-review permalinks that finally just work • fixes a GitHub bug that's been open 4+ years (community discussion #10367) Privacy and permissions: • no data collection, no tracking, no network requests • no special permissions — the content script only runs on github.com • free and open source (MIT)
