FEATURES • Adds a Size column to GitHub file listings. • Shows the repository's total size in the repository header, or in the breadcrumb bar on code pages. • Updates automatically as you move between folders. • Optional personal access token: raises the GitHub API limit from 60 to 5,000 requests per hour and enables private repositories. SETUP 1. Install the extension. 2. Open any GitHub repository. 3. For higher rate limits, click the extension icon, open Options, paste a GitHub personal access token, save it, and test it. PRIVACY • No analytics, tracking, or developer server. • The optional token is stored in chrome.storage.local on your device and is sent only to GitHub. • File sizes are cached locally for 1 minute. • The token is never exposed to GitHub page scripts. NOTES • Uses GitHub's public API and raw.githubusercontent.com. • Without a token, GitHub's 60 requests/hour API limit applies. A notice appears when it is reached. • Unofficial extension.
