GitHub PR Reverse Comments
Overview
Sort GitHub PR comments and commits in reverse chronological order (newest first), with a toggle.
GitHub shows pull request comments oldest-first, so on a long-running PR you scroll all the way to the bottom every time you open the page just to see what's new. This extension flips the conversation timeline so the newest comment is at the top. The PR description stays where you expect it, above the timeline — only the conversation gets reversed. WHAT YOU GET • Newest comment at the top of every PR conversation, automatically. • A button in the bottom-right of the page to toggle between "Newest first" and "Oldest first". • Your choice is remembered across page loads and applies to every PR you visit. • A status-checks indicator near the top of the conversation showing the overall state (passing / failing / running). Click it to jump straight to the checks box. • A toolbar popup to set the order without hunting for the on-page button. No setup, no account, no options page to dig through. Install it, open a PR, done. PRIVACY Nothing leaves your browser. The only thing stored is a single preference value — "newest" or "oldest" — saved locally on your machine. No analytics, no network requests, no tracking, no data collection of any kind. Permissions used: • storage — to remember your newest-first / oldest-first preference. • access to github.com pull request pages — to read and re-order the comments in the tab you're looking at. It does not touch any other site or tab.
