Approve GitHub PRs with a configurable keyboard shortcut (via GitHub API)
Quickly approve GitHub pull requests with a single keyboard shortcut — from any PR tab. Features: • One-keystroke PR approval from any PR page (Conversation, Commits, Checks, or Files Changed) • Configurable keybinding (set your own combo in extension options) • Custom approval message — add "LGTM!", a personal note, or leave blank for silent approval • Platform-aware defaults: ⌘+Shift+U on Mac, Alt+Shift+U on Windows/Linux • Built-in token validation and guided setup • Visual toast confirmation on approve • Ignores shortcuts when typing in text fields Setup: 1. Open extension options (opens automatically on install) 2. Click "Create token" to open GitHub with pre-filled settings 3. Copy the generated token and paste it in the options page 4. Click Save — your token is validated automatically How to use: 1. Navigate to any GitHub pull request 2. Press the keyboard shortcut (default: ⌘+Shift+U / Alt+Shift+U) 3. Done — the PR is approved Permissions: Uses the GitHub REST API with your personal access token. Your token is stored in Chrome's synced storage and only sent to api.github.com.
