GitHub MD Review
Overview
Review rendered markdown in GitHub PRs and route comments back to the PR.
Reviewing Markdown design docs in a GitHub pull request is painful: you can read the rendered file or comment on the raw diff, but not both at once, and comments only attach to whole lines. GitHub MD Review fixes that. On a PR's "Files changed" page it adds a **Review rendered** button to each Markdown file. Clicking it opens a full-page, GitHub-styled rendering where you can: - **Select any text and comment on it** — the comment posts back to the PR as a native review comment. - **See existing PR comments inline**, anchored to the text they reference, with resolved threads collapsed. - **Reply, edit, delete, react, and resolve** threads without leaving the page. - **Write comments in Markdown** with a live Write/Preview toggle. - **View Mermaid diagrams** rendered, just like GitHub. All comments are native GitHub pull-request comments, so everything stays in your repository's history. The extension runs entirely in your browser and talks only to the GitHub API — no third-party servers, no tracking, no remote code.
