Overview

Change the text of the blame button (on github.com and gitlab.com) to encourage you to use it more!

I always hated using the "blame" button in github and gitlab because it feels like I'm being hypercritical of other people's work, but sometimes you want to know, "who made this change and when?" The purpose of this extension is to encourage good habits of asking these questions by allowing you to use terms like "investigate" or the sleuthing emoji or (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ when you're feeling especially froggy! Hopefully this extension will help you the way it's helped me in encouraging me to ask questions about the code I'm looking at without feeling guilty because I'm "blaming" someone. * To change your default from "investigate", go to the Chrome Extensions tab, look for "Git* Investigate!" and click "options". You'll see a number of options including a few fun emoticons. Want to contribute to the extension? Check out the source: https://gitlab.com/chaseadamsio/chromeextensions/
