Gisti Web Clipper
Overview
Save the current page to Gisti as a clean Markdown note.
Gisti Web Clipper saves the page you are reading into the Gisti app for macOS as a clean Markdown note. HOW IT WORKS • Click the Gisti button in the toolbar (or right-click the page and choose "Save to Gisti"). • The extension extracts the readable content of the page — no ads, no navigation, no cookie banners — using Mozilla's Readability, the same engine behind Firefox Reader Mode. • The article is converted to Markdown (headings, lists, tables, code blocks, links and images are preserved) and saved into Gisti together with the page title and a link back to the source. WHAT YOU GET IN GISTI • The note appears instantly in your Stream, ready for search, semantic search, topics and AI summaries. • Everything is stored locally on your Mac. The extension sends the page content only to the Gisti app on the same machine — never to any server. REQUIREMENTS • macOS with the Gisti app installed (https://gisti.app). • In Gisti: Settings → Browser Extensions → Chromium browsers → Connect, so the browser can talk to the app. PRIVACY The extension has no analytics, no tracking and no remote code. It only runs on a page when you explicitly ask it to save that page.
