Finds photos, direct video, and audio on the current page and downloads selected files locally, without an account or analytics.

Page Media Downloader helps save photos, direct video files, and direct audio files already available to the web page you opened. How it works: - open a regular HTTP(S) page and click the extension icon; - results appear in the order Video → Audio → Photos; - playing audio is marked “Now playing” and appears first among audio results; - select the photos, video, and audio you need and start the download; - if the page has not loaded all media yet, use the additional search; - on Instagram, open a specific post or Reel rather than only the profile grid. The extension works locally, without an account, developer server, analytics, advertising, or telemetry. After you invoke it, it locally processes the current page address and visible content to find media; this data is not sent to the developer or stored as browser history. It does not request permanent access to every site: temporary access to the current tab starts only after a user action. Honest limitations: the extension does not record the tab, reconstruct HLS/DASH streams, bypass DRM, paywalls, authentication, private APIs, or access controls, and it does not support YouTube. A blob: item can be downloaded only when the page also exposes a direct unencrypted URL. Page Media Downloader is not affiliated with Instagram, Meta, or the owners of supported sites; service names describe compatibility only.
