Overview

Live best-available recommendations inside the ESPN draft room, plus one-click ESPN league connection for Bird Dog.

Bird Dog turns your ESPN draft room into a guided draft. Most draft cheat sheets are static — you print a list, then spend the draft crossing players off by hand while the clock runs. Bird Dog does that part for you. Open your ESPN draft. Bird Dog appears alongside it with a value-based board built from your league's actual scoring and roster settings — not a generic top-200 list. As picks happen, drafted players disappear from your board automatically. Your own picks collect into a roster panel by themselves. There is nothing to click and nothing to keep in sync. WHAT YOU GET • A value-based board (VBD), not raw projections — it ranks by how much better a player is than the next one available at that position in YOUR league. • Your league's real scoring. Half-PPR, full PPR, superflex, TE premium, custom scoring — the board is computed for your settings, read from your own ESPN session. You never type your scoring in anywhere. • Drafted players removed the moment the pick lands. • Your roster, built automatically as you draft. • Value indicators showing which players the market is letting slide past their worth. • A by-position view and a full-board view — switch between them mid-draft. • A companion full-screen board at birddogfantasy.com/draft-board that stays in sync with the draft room (see SECOND-MONITOR MODE below). HOW IT WORKS 1. Install the extension. 2. Open your ESPN draft room. The board appears — no setup, no login, no copying IDs. 3. Draft. TRY IT IN A MOCK DRAFT FIRST Go to ESPN Fantasy → Football → Mock Draft Lobby and join any room — the board shows up by itself and you draft straight off it. A practice draft started from your own league uses your league's exact scoring automatically; lobby mocks use ESPN's standard settings. Either way there is nothing to configure. SECOND-MONITOR MODE Want the big board? Keep your ESPN draft room tab open, then open birddogfantasy.com/draft-board in a second tab or on a second monitor and click "Start ESPN live board." The header flips green — LINKED · N picks in — and every pick made in the room falls off the full-screen board automatically. If it stays on "waiting for draft room," your ESPN draft tab isn't open. Optionally, click "Connect ESPN league" in the popup to link your league to a Bird Dog account for in-season lineup help. The draft tools do not require this. PRIVACY Bird Dog runs only on ESPN draft pages and on birddogfantasy.com. It does not run on any other site. It reads your ESPN session cookies only when you click "Connect ESPN league," and only to link your own league to your own account — never to any third party.
