Overview
View large JSON responses with tree, table, search, JSONPath and jq. JSON content is processed locally in your browser.
Read JSON responses without fighting a wall of text. GigaJSON turns JSON pages into an interactive viewer with a searchable tree, sortable tables, graph exploration and powerful queries. Open an API response or JSON file in your browser and start exploring. BUILT FOR LARGE RESPONSES Parsing runs in a background worker, and the viewer renders the rows you need. Opening time and practical file limits depend on your device and the response size. EXPLORE YOUR DATA • Tree: expand and collapse objects, inspect values and copy paths. • Table: browse arrays of objects, sort columns and filter rows. • Graph: explore the structure of your document. • Text: read formatted JSON. • Query: use JSONPath, JMESPath or jq. • Find: search keys and values with Ctrl+F or Cmd+F. • Original: switch back to the original response. HANDLE REAL-WORLD FORMATS View JSON, NDJSON/JSON Lines, JSONP and responses with common anti-hijacking prefixes. Invalid JSON shows an error to help you identify the problem. Optional XML viewing supports feeds, sitemaps and XML responses. A FULL EDITOR IS INCLUDED Choose “Open in GigaJSON” to move a response into the bundled workspace. Edit data, apply transformations, compare documents, review history, generate TypeScript types or JSON Schema, and export in different formats. You can also right-click selected JSON or XML, or a link to a data file, and open it in GigaJSON. The bundled workspace works offline. LOCAL DATA PROCESSING Your JSON and XML content is processed on your computer and is not uploaded to GigaJSON or Google Analytics. Documents saved in the workspace remain in your browser’s local storage. No account is required. Usage statistics are off by default. If you enable “Share usage statistics” in the extension’s options, feature-use counts, formats, file-size ranges and error types are sent with a random installation ID through GigaJSON’s Cloudflare relay to Google Analytics. Cloudflare receives your IP address for connection handling and abuse prevention; the relay does not forward it to Google. Document contents, file names and viewed page addresses are excluded. You can turn statistics off at any time. Some extension preferences may sync through your browser provider; documents and Chrome analytics consent stay local. CONTROL WHEN IT RUNS Turn automatic viewing on or off, exclude specific sites, and enable XML viewing in the extension’s options.
